Marie Murphy Duess ...
History author, novelist, freelance writer, graphic artist, and marketing specialist  Loved it. Your characters are real people - I could put names to those characters of people I know! I found you to be very insightful into the workings of both women's and men's minds and with the added historical interest - brilliant. I've now left my copy with a friend in England to be passed around .

Thanks for a great read.I will admit I LOVED it! I'm glad I took my time and really got to know the characters!! I'm going to miss Lillian and Ann! I'm still digesting the storyline! You are a very powerful writer.....I was very pleasantly surprised and very moved! And although it was sad, I don't think it was "too" sad but man did I ever ball!!! I was reading at my desk while I ate my lunch today and actually had to powder my nose and shake it off before I could concentrate on work again!! I give it 5 stars, 2 thumbs up and want my own written AND signed copy....thank you very much!!! I finished it this morning and I loved every chapter.  What a wonderful finish.

I loved this novel and highly recommend it. In fact I plan to buy more copies for friends. There is some sadness but the immense love outweighs the sadness...KN

These are people we know. They portray life as it really is - the difficult, life-changing choices that are sometimes required of us are all here. Give this book a try. It's worth it! JH
Tears of a Willow is beautiful story with characters that you can identify with, characters that you feel you know. A fast, powerful read, the story will make you laugh, make you cry and leave you feeling good. What an amazing story, absolutely brilliant! Loved it! MC

Tear of the Willow was my first purchase for my Kindle Fire (which I've had almost 5 months). I will admit I didn't think it would grip me the way it did right from the get go....I was wrong! It took me a week to read it and not because I'm a slow reader but, because I could have scoffed it up in a day, but I wanted to linger over it and really digest the words and story.....I savored each word. During that week, I thought & talked about it constantly! WOW....the words are powerful! It had a little bit of everything....humor, history, love and everyday life events that anyone who takes the time to read it will be able to identify with. I highly recommend it! AC

Tears of the Willow , which was released on April 11, 2013, is available on, in bookstores, and on Kindle and other e-Reader formats. This is a story about redemption, love, and forgiveness.  Grab a box of tissues...but be prepared to laugh, too.  I love this book - I loved writing it even though it was very difficult at times.  Although not exactly autobiographical, these women are very real for me.  I like them.  We all know women like them - they are our mothers, sisters, cousins, aunts, and best friends.  I hope you love it as much as I do.
